Our conferences in Berlin and Wiesbaden exposed how the European headquaters of this group are in Germany and how little is being done in both France and Germany to investigate the dangers to the individual and to the State of allowing such totalitarian groups to spread their influence worldwide. We have clear evidence that for the last six years the German Hesse authorities prefer to dismiss the death of a British citizen as not meriting a full investigation and to brush under the carpet the dangers to students and others that may be posed by these kind of groups.

For too long the LaRouche network has been ignored by academics doing research into antisemitism because they fail to see the whole picture or to place them alongside other dangerous fascist groups like the BNP and LePen's French National Front or take on board how the coded antisemitism functions. Also the way they have started to spread a youth movement worldwide is something inciting much harm in Universities.

Chip Berlet is senior analyst at Political Research Associates (PRA) in the Boston area. Chip Berlet is the author of a new study entitled Toxic to Democracy: Conspiracy Theories, Demonization, and Scapegoating.

Berlet is co–author of Right-Wing Populism in America: Too Close for Comfort (Guilford, 2000) and editor of Eyes Right! Challenging the Right Wing Backlash (South End Press, 1995), both of which received a Gustavus Myers Center Award for outstanding scholarship on the subject of human rights and bigotry in North America.

Dennis King is the author of Lyndon LaRouche and the New American Fascism (Doubleday, 1989). He has written scores of articles for newspapers and magazines, the majority relating to the LaRouche network and other political cults and anti-Semitic groups.

It is now 6 years since on the 27 March 2003 the body of a British student Jeremiah Duggan, was found on a dual carriage way, outside the town of Wiesbaden in Germany. Shortly before his death, Jeremiah made telephone calls to his family and girlfriend stating his life was in danger. However when the body was found, the drivers were allowed to leave the scene before the investigating officer arrived and the police decided this was suicide there being no need therefore to investigate the full circumstances.

The Police took no witness statements, destroyed his shoes and clothes and failed to carry out a post mortem.. Later at the British Inquest the notion of suicide was discounted and it was found that Jeremiah died in a state of terror. It was found that Jeremiah had traveled to Germany, unaware that the seemingly benign anti-war conference was really a recruitment grounds for the LaRouche movement.

The spot where Jeremiah's body was found is in close proximity to the headquarters of the LaRouche organization ("EIR" offices) The Executive Intelligence Review is published by the LaRouche Printing Press. This Press Agency Printers is still used by the German Special Police Forces.
For six years Erica Duggan has tried through the legal system to establish what happened to her son and yet to date there has been no effective investigation.
It is the right of all citizens to ask questions about possible dangers. It is the duty of the State to protect. More here.
