CULT AWARENESS WEEK

The 22nd March was the day my son Jeremiah Duggan went from Paris to Wiesbaden Germany to attend a conference of the Lyndon LaRouche Organization and to hear the lectures given by Lyndon LaRouche. It was at this conference that my son was informed by Lyndon LaRouche that the world was poised on the brink of nuclear destruction, that the individual did not possess the powers of independent thought because everything that had been learnt from parents, from religion, from schools and from the media were full of lies and not to be trusted. My son was told that there was a conspiracy of evil forces planning to overthrow governments in an attempt to spread universal fascism.
How did this start?
Just from the simple act of my son buying a newspaper outside his College campus – which happened to be the British Institute in Paris his life was put under threat.
When my son asked me about Lyndon LaRouche I could not tell him anything.
When my son was completely impressed with an older man who was teaching him about politics and telling him to read Plato I jokingly said: “You sure it’s not a cult?” But our ignorance and my son’s trusting idealistic nature set Jeremiah down a path where his short life came to a most shocking end.
The political party associated with Lyndon LaRouche has in 1985 been named in the German Parliament as a political sect.
The LaRouche network is well documented over the years as being a secretive political cult with dangerous psychological methods of recruitment. Everything the young recruit believed and wanted is turned into its opposite and reversed.
I am in receipt of many letters from ex-cult members from all over the world and all of them substantiate these claims.
We must expose all activities of destructive cults which can threaten the safety of the youth and of all of us.
ON THE 27th MARCH 2003 my son rang me in the middle of the night and told me that he was in deep trouble. He told his girlfriend earlier that he was under too much pressure. He begged me to rescue him because he wanted to stay alive yet forty five minutes later he was killed. We still do not know how he died – all we do know is the British Coroner’s verdict that he was hit by two cars and that earlier he had been in a state of terror.
So in memory of all those young people who are drawn into organizations that at first appear trustworthy and admirable but which have hidden agendas I want to launch the idea of a
My son was killed five kilometres out of the town and the German police declared it to be suicide and have not as yet fully investigated the death or the circumstances leading to the death.
All the documentation suggests a world wide network with a history of intimidation, terror tactics and violence.
IT IS MOST URGENT THAT BECAUSE OF THE DANGERS FROM MANY DIFFERENT KINDS OF GROUPS ON THE UNIVERSITY CAMPUSES THAT FULL INVESTIGATIONS TAKE PLACE INTO THE METHODS OF RECRUITMENT USED. All FORMS OF MENTAL CRUELTY and PHYSICAL ABUSE MUST BE INVESTIGATED.
IT IS MOST URGENT THAT INSTITUTIONS WHICH ARE CHARGED WITH TEACHING OTHERS should operate without secrecy and their activities should be open to public scrutiny if suspicions deem them harmful by the appropriate law agencies. Thus no education of the young should take place which seeks to INCITE TO HATRED OR TO DENIGRATE THE INDIVIDUALS RIGHT TO MAKE FREE AND INFORMED CHOICES.
THE DUGGAN FAMILY WANT THE DEATH OF THEIR SON TO BE REMEMBERED DURING THIS WEEK. THEY ASK THAT THIS WEEK BE DECLARED A CULT AWARENESS WEEK SO THAT SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES HOLD LECTURES and DISPENSE LITERATURE TO TELL THE YOUTH ABOUT THE NEED TO BE VIGILANT AGAINST THE POWERFUL METHODS USED TO PERSUADE and DECEIVE. ALSO WHERE INDEPENDENCE OF THOUGHT IS REPLACED BY A BLIND ALLEGIANCE TO ONE LEADER THE RIGHTS OF THE INDIVIDUAL ARE PROTECTED AND NOT DENIED.
